Nico Schlotterbeck will return to the bench after Jonathan Tah returns from suspension, although the Borussia Dortmund centre-back impressed in recent games.

Julian Nagelsmann will start Jonathan Tah in Friday’s Euro 2024 quarter-final against Spain, despite Nieco Schlotterbeck’s impressive display in the 2-0 win over Denmark in the last 16.

However, Nagelsmann will still rely on the Rudiger-Tah partnership for Friday’s Euro 2024 quarter-final clash. With Spain, while Schlotterbeck will once again be dropp from the bench despite the 24-year-old’s fine form in recent games.

He has been in Freiburg’s first team since 2019, playing in 53 games and scoring 4 goals. However, he was also loan out to Union Berlin in the 2020-2021 season. Playing in 17 games and scoring 2 goals.
